Our Mission

The Children's Ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Gulfport strives to lay a firm, gospel-centered foundation that our children will be able to build upon for years to come. We strive to be intentional with our method and substance in teaching about Jesus, his teachings, and his love. We are a ministry for all children, working hand-in-hand with parents and guardians to teach God's Word.

 

Sunday

 Sunday School: 8:50 a.m.           Worship: 10:00 a.m.

Sunday School meets each Sunday at 8:50 a.m. We are currently using "The Gospel Project." All are welcome. Wednesday 

              Fellowship Dinner: 5:30 p.m.- 6:15 p.m.       Choir and Bible Club: 6:15 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.         

 

Wednesday night begins with our Fellowship Dinner in the gym at 5:30 p.m. Children are dismissed from dinner at 6:15 p.m. for children's choir and Bible Club.

 

The Young Musicians Choir (grades K-5) meets in the Fellowship Classroom. The Melody Makers Choir (Preschool) meets in the Wee Worship Room. The Young Musicians Choir sings on Sunday mornings throughout the year. Both choirs have two extra performances, one at Christmas and another at the end of the school year.

Other Activities

In addition to our regular weekly activities, we have numerous special events throughout the year, including Camp Design, the Easter Egg Hunt, the Fall Festival, and the Charlie Brown Christmas Event. Follow our Facebook page for updates!

For your child's safety, all of our children's ministry workers and volunteers have been specially trained, screened, and have successfully completed a background check.
