The mission of Women's Ministries to help every woman in our congregation—no matter what age or stage—to know Christ personally and to commit to extending His kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and world.
The women in the church nominate and elect members to serve on the Women’s Leadership Team, a group of six women who provide the vision and direction for this important ministry. They meet regularly for planning purposes and are responsible for ensuring that the women in our church have ample opportunities to minister and to grow in their relationship with Christ and with other women in the church.

Thursday Morning Bible Study/ Mission Day
The Thursday morning group meets every week in the sanctuary from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. To provide an environment that is safe for all, masks are expected. During this time, we enjoy fellowship, teaching, and prayer. Women are welcome to join us at any point in the study. This fall, we are studying Kingdom Work: Our Calling as a Faithful Image Bearer, taught by Paula Moore. An audio recording of the Bible study will be made available.
Once a month, our Thursday morning group takes a break from regular Bible study to work on a missions project to support our local community. These projects include making bears with heartbeat recorders for the Women’s Resource Center (WRC), smocks for infants in the NICU, and blankets for CASA children. These dates will be announced in our weekly email. If you have any questions, would like to be added to this email list, or would like a recording of a lesson, please email Dana Polson at email@example.com.
Monday Evening Bible Study
All women are welcome. This fall, we are studying the book of
Matthew using the NavPress Study Guide and R.C. Sproul's
commentary. We meet Mondays at 6:00 p.m. via zoom.
Participants will receive information from Cathy Jasinski on logging in.
Moderator is Opal Bowden (228-863-0874) and contact person

Ladies Night Out
Once a month, we enjoy gathering in each other’s homes for an informal night of food, fun, and fellowship. For now, these will be mostly outdoor events. Masks are expected indoors and encouraged outdoors. You are welcome to bring canned/bottled drinks or pre-packaged foods to share. If you would like to know the date of our next LNO or have any other questions, please email Dana Polson at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope you’ll join us!
Community Bible Reading
Paul tells us in Colossians 3:16 to "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom." Community Bible Reading (CBR) groups are small groups that read scripture privately, then “teach and admonish one another” in the form of a group text or email. Each group has its own reading plan, but most groups read through an entire book of the Bible, a chapter a day, alternating Old and New Testaments. Not everyone has to share every time, but hearing from others how God has impacted them will keep us in fellowship with one another and encourage others to continue reading. If you are interested in joining a CBR group or creating a small group of your own, please email email@example.com.
