The mission of Women's Ministries to help every woman in our congregation—no matter what age or stage—to know Christ personally and to commit to extending His kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and world.
The women in the church nominate and elect members to serve on the Women’s Leadership Team, a group of six women who provide the vision and direction for this important ministry. They meet regularly for planning purposes and are responsible for ensuring that the women in our church have ample opportunities to minister and to grow in their relationship with Christ and with other women in the church.

Thursday Morning Bible Study
We meet every week from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and childcare is provided. During this time, we enjoy fellowship, teaching, and prayer. Women are welcome to join us at any point in the study.
Once a month, we have a Mission Day during our Thursday morning time. Some of the things we do include a baby shower for Women's Resource Center in Gulfport, packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child, sewing teddy bears and outfits for the NICU at Memorial Hospital, preparing items for Camp Design Vacation Bible School, and decorating the church for Christmas.
The Thursday Morning Bible Study is on break for the summer months. We will resume on Thursday, August 15, 2019.
Monday Evening Bible Study
The Monday evening group meets weekly from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the home of Opal Bowden, and is led by Opal and Ruth Rainey. A light meal is provided, and childcare is not provided for this evening study.
We are currently studying The Pilgrim's Progress: A Guided Tour by Derek Thomas. If you have questions or would like to join this study, please email email@example.com.
Women's Ministries will be hosting a Summer Book Club on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of June and July to read through Rosaria Butterfield's The Gospel Comes with a House Key. These discussions will give us an opportunity to think, pray, and talk through the idea of biblical hospitality.
We will be meeting in various homes throughout the area, corresponding roughly to North Gulfport, D'Iberville, Downtown Gulfport, and either Pass Christian or Diamondhead. Specific details will be available in the weekly email or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ladies Night Out is a monthly time of fellowship in each others' homes. We gather for food and fellowship and enjoy a night out getting to know one another better. Activities have included game night, Bunco, swimming, pancake and pajama night, baby showers, and assembling soup mixes as Christmas gifts. Women of all life stages and ages enjoy this time together. The location and activity change each month, and details can be found in our weekly email. If you would like to receive our weekly email, please email email@example.com.
May Ladies Night Out
May Ladies Night Out will be at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, at Newk's in Gulfport (I-10 & Hwy 49, next to Sam's Club). Please join us!
