The mission of Women's Ministries to help every woman in our congregation—no matter what age or stage—to know Christ personally and to commit to extending His kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and world.
The women in the church nominate and elect members to serve on the Women’s Leadership Team, a group of six women who provide the vision and direction for this important ministry. They meet regularly for planning purposes and are responsible for ensuring that the women in our church have ample opportunities to minister and to grow in their relationship with Christ and with other women in the church.

We meet every week from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and childcare is provided. During this time, we enjoy fellowship, teaching, and prayer. Women are welcome to join us at any point in the study.
Once a month, we have a Mission Day during our Thursday morning time. Some of the things we do include a baby shower for Women's Resource Center in Gulfport, packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child, sewing teddy bears and outfits for the NICU at Memorial Hospital, preparing items for Camp Design Vacation Bible School, and decorating the church for Christmas.
We are studying the books of Ezra and Nehemiah during the fall semester. If you'd like to have us order you a book, please complete this form. If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Monday Evening Bible StudyThe Monday evening group meets weekly from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the home of Opal Bowden. A light meal is provided, and childcare is not provided for this evening study.
We will be studying the book of Matthew beginning September 9. If you have questions or would like to join this study, please email email@example.com.
Ladies Night Out is a monthly time of fellowship in each others' homes. We gather for food and fellowship and enjoy a night out getting to know one another better. Activities have included game night, Bunco, swimming, pancake and pajama night, baby showers, and assembling soup mixes as Christmas gifts. Women of all life stages and ages enjoy this time together. The location and activity change each month, and details can be found in our weekly email. If you would like to receive our weekly email, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Women's Ministries Bible Reading Plan - Fall 2019
As we begin a new academic year, it is our prayer that all of the women in our church would be rooted and bulit up in Christ. "Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." - Colossians 2:6-7
To that end, we have provided a reading plan for this semester that includes a daily reading from the Psalms, another Old Testament book, and a New Testament book. We hope that you will join us in this daily feast that nourishes our souls and rightly orients us to God and His ways.
