In John 13:34-35, Jesus gives a distinguishing characteristic of His disciples: that they will love other disciples. “By this,” Jesus says, “all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
In life, it seems that loving one another, even the ones we care about the most, is terribly difficult. At FPC, we recognize that true change in life comes through God working in the midst of community. Therefore, we intentionally work to create mini-communities within the broader community of First Presbyterian.
Community groups meet in members' homes throughout the week, and are the best way to plug in at FPC. We also offer Women's and Men's ministries, as well as opportunties for our children and teenagers to wrestle with the gospel in community.
