Growing Together: Becoming a Church Where Everyone Belongs
Families touched by disability often have unique challenges in trying to participate in ordinary church experiences such as Sunday School, worship, and fellowship times. Becoming a church where everyone is growing in Christ and finding genuine relationships with one another does not happen automatically.
Growing together takes intentional effort, understanding, and a willingness to love those who may be different from you. In this conference, we will look at a range of church issues, from behavior to worship and from Sunday School to fellowship times. We will consider ways that First Presbyterian Church can grow to become a body where individuals and families impacted by disability thrive and find belonging.
Growing Together is a free conference open to our entire community! Please register below to help us better prepare. Nursery is provided for children from birth to preschool and, there will be a light breakfast offered on Saturday, August 24th.
